I am dedicated to bringing together the latest in sociological knowledge, pedagogical practice, and technological tools to effectively and passionately teach students how to think, write, and see sociologically.
I have taught Introduction to Sociology, Introduction to Criminology, Research Methods, Social Problems, Collective Behavior and Social Movements, Police and Society, Social Deviance, and Homelessness and Housing Insecurity in America. I have also taught the course Understanding Lived Experiences as part of the Inside Out Prison Exchange Program at CSU Pueblo and at the CSU Todos Santos Center in Mexico.
